Mediterranean Deli feels like a home! Every time I walk in there the staff welcome me and ask me how my day is going. It's the little things that matter the most especially in the customer service industry. I order the gyro with two sides and It's the most authentic and fresh gyro meat I've had. Their hummus and their tabouli is to die for! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get, my favorite thing is having leftovers!
I highly recommend this hole in the wall restaurant! -

The best gyro in Orlando. Let me repeat that. THE BEST GYRO IN ORLANDO. They load them with meat, great quality, friendly service, great price. There is nothing wrong with this place (except maybe the hours could be a bit longer).
Don't expect fancy, this is a hole in the wall, but that is how a gyro place should be. There is nothing upscale about a gyro.
There salads are pretty amazing as well, as is the hummus. This place isn't a one hit wonder, their whole menu is solid.
If you are seeking a gyro in Orlando, this is the place to go. After a visit here, you will understand what I and so many others in the know do know. Here is the place to go for a great gyro. -

I'm going to be bold and go as far to declare this the best gyro I've had. The place is an unassuming hole in the wall easily missable from the main road, but the food is anything but ordinary. For $8 I was able to get a gyro sandwich, one of any of their Greek sides, and a drink. For the amount of the food they gave me, I consider that a steal.
They splice the meat right off the rotating skewer and grill it so that it's steaming hot. They also grill the pita. (To me the pita can make or break a good gyro, and this pita was so soft and tender.) The sandwich is stuffed with gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, and onion (at our request) along with a generous amount of freshly made tzatziki sauce. I could barely keep my gyro together, that's how much stuff it contained, which is how it should be. Word of advice: keep it in the foil whIle you eat. The meat was seasoned perfectly, a nice slightly peppery quality, and the tzatziki had a subtle hint of mint to bring the right amount of balance and freshness. This was one beautifully crafted Mediterranean gyro. -

Top Rate! Good food and plenty of it. Fresh, well seasoned and well cooked. After the first bite my husband said we'd be coming back again. We both had the gyro plate with Greek salad. Mine was chicken and his was lamb. Chicken is often overcooked but they made this directly after the order was placed. Perfect. The Greek salad had huge cubes of feta. Good cheese with very fresh cucumbers and tomato. Highly recommend this for a quick lunch.

This is where I go when I want one the best gyros in town. They are not shy with the portions and their quality is superb. It can get a little busy around lunch and seating is limited, but I can't knock them for being popular. I usually go with either the standard gyro or the gyro platter, served with one of their Mediterranean salads. Their portions are generous enough for two solid meals.
